ClinicalConnect HIE strives to help the region’s healthcare providers improve care by providing patient-centered, accountable care, and by creating a model that can be replicated nationwide.

Leadership from nine regional healthcare organizations came together to explore forming a Health Information Exchange. Officially formed in 2011 as a Pennsylvania non-profit Corporation, ClinicalConnect HIE is western Pennsylvania’s first Health Information Exchange.
